Skin Rejuvenation & Hair Restoration
Platelet Rich Plasma, also known as PRP is a concentration of platelets and growth factors drawn from your own blood. Platelets are a rich source of proteins which can stimulate stem cells to help restore fibroblast activity and hair follicles.
By utilizing your own blood, we isolate the plasma which then becomes a condensed suspension of your own growth factors. PRP condenses and stimulates peripheral growth factors and stem cells at the delivery site to regenerate and to create collagen and elastin fibers. Essentially using your body's natural capacity to heal and renew itself.
ABOUT THE PROCEDURE
After your initial consultation with Dr. Peizer, your skin will be cleansed and numbed with a topical numbing agent. Then through a simple blood draw we collect and centrifuge to separate the PRP from the blood cells. The concentration is then administered to the face and neck or the scalp for hair restoration.
We offer the most comprehensive PRP treatment for optimal results. Our PRP face lift utilizes both micro-needling and injections in the face and neck. This ensures a complete skin restoration and a lift throughout the entire area. Same applies for hair restoration to achieve maximum benefit. The procedure is minimally invasive and recovery time is brief. Results typically take 4 to 8 weeks to see and a continued improvement for 6 months. When receiving PRP for skin rejuvenation your results achieved lasts for about 2 years. Recommended protocol for Hair Rejuvenation is every 4 months for a minimum of 5 treatments.
What Is PRP?
We take micro-needling to the next level by offering micro-needling in combination with PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma. PRP utilizes the body’s own materials to create a serum that increases the growth factors of your skin. The extracted platelets from your blood are associated with the healing process. The PRP solution is applied to your face during the micro-needling treatment as a lubricant, increasing the degree of healing.
Benefit of Micro-needling in Combination with PRP
PRP is a natural way to enhance the healing of your skin cells from the micro-needling treatment. The two therapies (micro-needling and PRP) work in synergy to create a treatment that delivers accelerated results capable of bringing better outcomes than each part could alone. Results may be seen immediately following treatment with more results showing over the next 4-6 weeks. The largest of the results will occur over the next six months as your body naturally treats itself while utilizing the PRP to heal.
What Should I Expect During My Treatment?
First, a small amount of blood will be drawn from your arm and spun in a centrifuge to separate your cells into red blood cells, platelets, and plasma creating PRP. While your blood is undergoing the separation process, we will cleanse your face and prepare it for treatment by applying a topical anesthetic (numbing cream), which will help to diminish any pain that may be experienced during the treatment. Treatment will be performed by our Certified Master Estheticians in office and is done with a pen called SKINPEN. The pen has 14 very fine needles. These needles gently puncture the skin at various depths to create a controlled skin injury, which stimulates the release of growth factors and cytokines. The PRP solution is applied topically to your facial skin at the same time as the micro-needling is performed. Once the microneedling is complete the Doctor will then inject in specified areas for concentration.
How Many Treatments will I Need?
It is typical to need at least 3 treatments, 4 weeks apart; however some people may experience desired results in fewer treatments.
What Can I Expect Post-Procedure?
The skin will be red and flushed, similar to a mild sunburn, for the first 12 hours to 3 days. You may experience some mild tightness, swelling, and/or peeling. Side effects typically resolve within 3 days.

“As soon as I began noticing hair loss I started seeking help from various Doctors. Once they ruled out health issues they said its just part of being in my late 40s. I started doing my own research and came upon PRP treatments for new hair growth. I was so excited to find Omni Centers in Olympia and even more with my results. I have seen new hair growth and even had my regular Doctor notice the growth! Thank you Karen and Dr. Lauren” A Happy Omni Patient
